All About Ms. Kathman
Hello everyone! I'm Teresa Kathman, the Middle School (6-8) Math and Science Teacher at St. Joseph! Although this is my 6th year teaching at St. Joseph, this will be my first year teaching all the Middle School Math and Science classes. I spent my first five years here mostly teaching 5th grade. I have also taught Art, Band, and Computers, and was the Librarian for a year. Needless to say, I am very excited to be back in one classroom for the whole day again!

I grew up in the small town of Lawrence, Nebraska and graduated from Lawrence/Nelson High School. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Hastings College in 2009. Then I turned around and received my Master's Degree from Concordia University in 2012. I'm still taking a few classes on the side - got to keep my mind fresh!

Any of my students could probably tell you I have three younger siblings, two of which are still in Middle/High School, since I reference them now and again. Although I have an awesome boyfriend, I'm still a 'Ms.' and not a 'Mrs.'. I am (more than) a little competitive and I LOVE to have fun with the students! I tend to push my classes, but I want them to be the best that they can be!
